Event description

Join INFTA-certified Forest Therapy Guide, Cerae Mitchell, for a unique 3-hour Forest Therapy and Nature Journaling experience—an opportunity to slow down, tune into your senses, and cultivate a deeper connection with the natural world.

What to Expect

This gentle, slow-paced walk invites you to:
🌿 Engage in guided activities that foster relaxation and mindfulness.
🖋️ Explore nature journaling—a simple yet powerful way to deepen your awareness of nature through creative expression.
🍵 Enjoy a tea ceremony to reflect and share in a small, supportive group.

No prior journaling or art experience is necessary—this is about observation, curiosity, and connection rather than creating "perfect" drawings or writing.

What is Forest Therapy?

Originating in Japan as Shinrin-yoku or "forest bathing," Forest Therapy is a research-backed practice that supports mental and physical well-being through immersive nature experiences. Studies have shown it can help:
✔ Reduce stress and anxiety
✔ Improve mood and mental clarity
✔ Boost immunity and overall well-being
✔ Enhance focus, creativity, and connection
