Forest Therapy at Mountain Creek 7 May 23
When was the last time you spent time in a forest?
Learn about and experience forest therapy, also known as forest bathing and nature therapy in this small group guided session through the open woodlands and alongside one of the tributaries of the Mooloolah River at Mountain Creek.
Forest therapy follows a sequence of activities that awaken our senses and help us develop our relationship with nature, the more-than-human world. It is a simple and down-to-Earth practice that improves our wellbeing, strengthens connection to self, nature and other humans and acknowledges and reveres country.
For more information, including answers to questions such as "What happens on a nature therapy walk?", "Is there scientific proof that it's good for us?" and "What should I wear?!" visit the Held Outside website.
