The forest is this place and a forest therapy nature walk may be exactly what you need. BOOK NOW! 

What is Forest Therapy?

This evidence-based public health practice promotes guided immersions in natural environments with the aim of improving mental and physical health whilst relaxing and enjoying the forest. This internationally recognized experience is gaining acknowledgement globally as an efficient and cost-effective natural medicine. A forest therapy nature walk session is a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual transformation towards wholeness, love and joy. This experience is suitable for all and will be 1.5hrs. This is an opportunity for you to explore the beauty of your backyard and to disconnect to reconnect. These forest therapy sessions will take place as follows:

  • Every second Mondays: 12.30-2pm (Stoney Range Regional Botanic Garden)
  • Every second Wednesdays: 12.30-2pm(Manly Dam) 
  • Every second Fridays: 12.30-2pm (Warriewood Wetlands / Irrawong Reserve)

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR: DR. SARAH BRIKKÉ

Dr. Sarah Brikké is the Founder and Director of Healing with Nature. She is a certified forest therapy guide, a certified first aid mental health aider, an environmental educator and a park ranger. She has successfully completed her PhD in the field of environmental psychology / environmental education, researching the benefits of nature on children (Griffith University, Australia). Healing with Nature is about connecting people to themselves, to nature and to their community. The mission of Healing with Nature is to offer nature tours to improve an individual’s spiritual, physical and mental health by immersing in nature.
