Found Poetry with Megan
Event description
Poetry is everywhere for those who wish to find it. Bring new interpretations to old or forgotten texts with the technique of found poetry with both literary and visual elements. We will work with salvaged material and find your inner poet and excavate hidden poems, explore deeper layers of expression and the ways in which we construct and find meaning in the world around us. Using pens, pencils and paints we will explore visual ways to express the found words.
You will get to find and take home your own visual found poem and we will be doing some additional writing exercises to get our creativity flowing.
