Foundational Communication for men: The Mechanics of Communication.

Recent data shows that relationship issues are the most prevalent psycho-social stressor for men, with 44% of men citing relationship breakdown as the primary trigger for mental health decline (AIHW 2024). Most of us were never taught “how to communicate”; we were taught to react, blame, or shut down. There is a documented 32% "Literacy Gap" between what men feel and what they actually say, meaning what is said is not accurate to what is happening internally (EQ Competency Research 2024).

This is a high-impact, 4.5 hour (plus breaks) intensive designed to move you from reactive "Below the Line" behavior to intentional Relational Leadership. I don't do "fluff." I provide a literal, mechanical structure for how you hear, process, and respond to the people who matter most, while being compassionate, centred instead of reactive and interrogative.

What you will attain:

Above the Line Framework: Catching the drift into blame before you speak or react.
Observation: Stripping away subjective adjectives to state objective facts, and see things without judgement.
Emotional recognition: Naming emotions to be in control
Keyword Listening: Verifying exactly what was said, not what you interpreted was said.
The NVC Formula: A 4-step script to resolve friction (Observation, Feeling, Want, Request).

The Commitment: You will spend over 2 hours interacting and practising these tools against real-world relational friction points. You will leave the room with a 48-hour mission and an accountability partner.
