Four Techniques - A few things you can make from a cylinder with Alex Prentice

This workshop is designed for beginners or intermediate level potters who are able to make a thrown cylinder shaped form.

Please bring:

• Basic throwing tools - sponge, rib, cutting wire, trimming tool

• Small batts

• A bag of clay suitable for throwing (PW20, standard stoneware or similar)

About your tutor:

My name is Alex Prentice and I love helping people get further down the track in pottery. It is such a wonderful interest and has so many avenues to follow. You never seem to reach the end but have lovely challenges trying to go as far as you can go. I learnt wheel work at CPA and am indebted to Frederika Ernsten for her tutorage, I am a tutor at Mount Pleasant Club taking evening classes.
