Four Techniques - Monoprinting with Penny de Jong

Students will learn to use slips and underglazes to achieve designs, patterns, colours and textures that would otherwise be difficult to achieve,

Students will need to bring:

• A leather hard slab of clay - roughly A3 size.

  (must not be powdery as it will need to be manipulated)

• Scissors

• Craft knife

• Water container

• Soft rib, or old credit card

• Toothbrush

• Pencil

• Paint brushes

• Sponges

• Sponge dotters

• Any favourite stencils or stamps

• Spray water bottle

• Wooden ruler
