Parking is free. All ages are welcome. Visitors are welcome to bring a bagged lunch.

We will have water samples to view under microscopes and go over basic identification of freshwater plankton.

Learn about HABs (Harmful Algal Blooms) and citizen science.

Large groups, scouts, school pods or camps may email for possible discounted rates or private alternate dates.

Whitesbog Preservation Trust is the nonprofit that cares for Whitesbog Historic Farm & Village in Browns Mills, NJ. We are located in the NJ Pinelands and we are a historic cranberry farm and the first commercial blueberry farm ever! Whitesbog is part of Brendan T. Byrne State Forest. You can visit to walk the trails, check out the historic buildings, explore the blueberry fields, watch the cranberries ripen, relax in the rocking chairs on the General Store porch, take a picnic, walk your dog, take pictures, or attend an event. We are open year round and most events take place on weekends, but check our Facebook page for updates.
