Hobart's swamp ensemble The Last Band on Earth features the talents of German garage rock iconoclast Tex Napalm on vocals and guitar. Johanna Brockman (Midnight Scavengers, Brian Henry Hooper) on guitar, with local stalwarts Timmy Trashbag (The Developers, Cindy Witches) on bass and TJ Ray (Ex-Powdermonkeys, The Roobs) on drums. The Last Band on Earth play a blend of voodoo infested rock noir with a large dose of cinematic americana, as seen through a post-punk lens. An eccletic genre mix that feels like the soundtrack to an imaginary road movie. For fans of The Gun Club, Rowland S. Howard, The Cramps, Tom Waits, Grinderman etc.
MISS JONES As a seasoned performer, Miss Jones brings her original jazzy blues and urban swing tunes to the stage of the Moonah Arts Centre. Solo and intimate, her sultry tones explore personal experiences and tales of life's little adventures
