FrogID week is Friday 3 to Sunday 12 November 2023. The Society invites you to learn about the frogs of South Gippsland.

Nine species of frog within the Western Port Woodlands were recently recorded using FrogID app. This talk will help you to identify the calls of our frogs and how to use the FrogID phone app. A trip to the wetlands around Screw Creek if the weather permits.

South Gippsland Conservation Society Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation based in Inverloch, Victoria, Australia. It was founded in 1976 and aims to promote and preserve South Gippsland's natural resources and encourage conservation education.

We hold regular excursions, workshops, and speaker nights, with activities that enhance our community's knowledge of the local environment.

We also operate Bunurong Coast Education - scheduling activities for the community during holidays and occasional weekends, with rock pooling, the dinosaur dig, astronomy, spotlighting and more. School and tour group excursions also available.
