Description

The full moon represents culmination and release. A time to acknowledge what has come to light and gently let go of what no longer serves you.

A monthly self-care ritual, this 90-minute session weaves together Yoga Nidra (a guided, lying-down meditation) with Reiki support under the light of the full moon. Together we create space to rest deeply, reconnect inward, and soften.

As a group, we rest together whilst the pairing of yoga nidra and the shared field of reiki both support the process of settling, unwinding, healing and reconnecting to inner truth. Expect deep relaxation, energetic shifts, whispers from your higher self and the feeling of coming home to yourself beneath the glow of the moon.

Meet your facilitators:

Emily - Meditation & Yoga Nidra Guide

Emily guides you through a Yoga Nidra experience that gently opens the gateway to deep inner stillness. Her facilitation weaves together somatic sensing, breath awareness, and subtle energetic cues, helping you sink beneath the noise of the mind and into the intuitive currents of the body. In this space, rest becomes a portal to healing, clarity, and the quiet truth beneath the surface.

Sarah - Reiki Master

Sarah offers Reiki to the group throughout the practice, attuning to the collective field and gently supporting inner healing, energetic release, and alignment. She is trained in the Tanran Reiki lineage, which is a practice that honours the natural intelligence of energy itself, rather than following prescribed hand placements or set sequences. This allows the Reiki to move intuitively where it’s most needed, supporting each participant in a deeply personalised way, without the need for touch.

FAQs

  • Do I need experience with Yoga Nidra or Reiki?

No experience is needed. This session is guided and accessible to everyone. You are invited to lie down, get comfortable, and you'll be fully guided into yoga nidra, a lying down meditation.

  • What does “Reiki support” mean in this session?

Reiki is offered gently and collectively while you rest. There is no physical touch during the Yoga Nidra portion. You don’t need to believe in anything specific, you can simply receive it as a supportive, calming presence or not think of it at all.

Sarah may offer touch to support grounding at the beginning of the session, but this will be an 'opt in' verbal invitation before the Yoga Nidra begins.

  • Do I need to bring anything?

Nope, we have all the props for comfort, including soft yoga mats to lie down on, blankets, eye pillows, cushions and bolsters. Feel free to arrive empty handed.

You are welcome to bring anything that supports you to feel comfortable and at ease. That might be a special blanket or eye pillow from home, or cosy socks.

  • What if I fall asleep?

That’s completely okay. Yoga Nidra works with the nervous system whether you’re fully awake or drifting in and out of sleep. Many people hover between both.

  • Is this a spiritual or religious practice?

No. While the full moon offers a natural moment for reflection and release, the session is grounded and focused on rest, awareness, and nervous system support.

We do provide oracle and/or tarot cards that you are welcome to choose from and read within your own space whilst we sip tea towards the end of the session. Everything we offer is an invitation and you do not have to do anything.

  • What should I wear?

Wear warm, comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps you feel cosy. The more supported your body feels, the deeper you can rest.

  • What if I’m feeling emotional or overwhelmed?

Full moons can heighten emotions for some people. This space is designed to be gentle and steady. You are always in control of your experience, and you’re welcome to move, adjust, or sit up at any time.

We deliberately take it slow when we close the meditation practice. We share tea and spend time in the post-nidra rest space before the session concludes.
