Event description

Join us for an enlightening workshop exploring the deep connection between breath and anxiety. Learn how your breathing patterns influence your nervous system, emotions, and overall mental well-being. This session combines science, mindfulness, and practical breathing techniques to help you manage anxiety more effectively.

This is a workshop for everyone who experiences anxiety and does not know how to control it, or has feelings of overwhelm, fear, anxiety and panic at unexplainable times. This is also for people who wish to help others through these experiences, parents, carers, friends, professionals etc.

This would be a perfect opportunity for a parent and teen to come and learn together so that they might be able to return home and work together through tough times.

This will be an informational/educational workshop which will be open to discussion and there will be plenty of practical work to learn and take away to keep working on. We will discuss all things breathwork and how we can use it to identify and control what's going on within. Therefore regaining and taking back control of our nervous systems and ultimately out lives.

This will include:

    • The physiology of breath: How breathing affects the brain and body
    • The anxiety-breathing feedback loop and controlling feelings of overwhelm and how to move forward from them.
    • Identifying dysfunctional breathing patterns and how to rectify a dysfunctional pattern.
    • Co2 tolerance and how to test and improve levels.
    • Breathwork practices for calming the nervous system and how we can control our physical state through breath.
    • Practical tools for daily stress and anxiety management
    • Trauma storing in the body and how to release it via breathwork.

What to Bring:
