Fundamentals of Research Impact: Evaluating and monitoring impact
Event description
Fundamentals of Research Impact: Evaluating and monitoring impact is the fourth of five bite-sized blended-learning hybrid sessions supported by the RESHub ‘Fundamental of Research Impact’ online module (https://canvas.uts.edu.au/enroll/GHRMEK).
In this session we will be focusing on:
- Recognising appropriate evaluation strategies for different moments in a research project lifecycle
- Developing an evaluation approach for a project you are working on or are planning
These blended-learning sessions delve into the crucial facets of understanding, planning, executing, and demonstrating research impact. Through real world case studies, inspiring stories and video interviews you’ll learn what research impact is, its importance for your research career and how it can be embedded into every step of the research journey.
The workshop will be presented by Catherine McElhone, Research Impact Facilitator, from the UTS Research Office, John Rees, Director of Research Development and Training and Amy Cotton, Manager of Development Programs from the UTS Graduate Research School.
