Come join Oliver Kunz, a lifelong lover and baker of bread, from his formative years in Germany to his adventurous attempt to open an artisan bakery in Sydney.

In this hands-on course, Oliver will guide us through the theory and spirit of sourdough bread making and starter maintenance to gain a holistic understanding of what sourdough baking is all about.

In this workshop you'll:

  • taste some delicious bread (with a variety of spreads)
  • learn a very reliable sourdough recipe and a variety of tips to perfect your home bread making.
  • learn how to take care of your sourdough starter.

Please feel free to bring along your favourite toppings to share and try with your bread. Also bring an apron, a medium sized mixing bowl with lid (Tupperware or similar) to take home your starter, curiosity and all your burning sourdough questions.
