An internationally celebrated rhythm-gamer raised on Toshiba-EMI and AVEX trax, heroic.vers brings you the global funk and groove. He is the host of heroic.vers/radio, a live show on YouTube where he cooks up grooves with the Chicago DJ community, and goes on deep dives of heroic inspirations. heroic.vers makes his Chicago debut in The Hole to bring you the Tokyo night club fantasy featuring Italo-Disco / Eurobeat, 90’s rave bodycon, Disco-house, Japanese Electro, and Groovy, funky, & uplifting global bangers.

Nestor's keen eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling enables him to bring scenes to life, often infusing them with a distinct Latin flair that adds an extra layer of depth and authenticity. He strives to celebrate diversity, challenge stereotypes, and inspire others to embrace their true selves authentically. His diverse experiences lend him a unique perspective, enriching his work and allowing him to connect with people from all walks of life.

Nestor deeply values compassion and empathy, color, culture and the experiences and relationships with the women closest to him, such as his mother and grandmother, they are a huge part of his work and inspiration.He believes in representing and celebrating the rich tapestry of human experiences through all of his work.  

Nestor’s art has garnered widespread recognition, with features in major media outlets such as NBC, RuPaul’s Drag Race, FOX, Conan O’Brien, and Time Out Chicago. His collaborations include contributions to albums and published works with Jeff Mills, a founding member of Detroit’s movement. His production design has earned acclaim, including an official selection at the 2024 Reeling ChicagoLGBTQ International Film Festival and a nomination at the Midwest Film Fest.
