Sunshine Rewind is a DJ and passionate record collector hailing from the west side of Chicago. Known for her expansive and eclectic taste, she specializes in vinyl-forward sets spanning boogie, funk, disco, new wave, house, and beyond. Making her DJ debut in the summer of 2024, Sunshine Rewind has quickly emerged as an exciting new presence in the Chicago scene.
I came to know Sunshine Rewind via Sunshine Rewind the Blog (which you should totally follow BTW) and very quickly came to respect both her taste and her vast musical knowledge. As a relatively new DJ, people are really taking notice of what she has to offer, and you can often find her spinning alongside some pretty heavy hitters at the best vinyl-focused bars and lounges around Chicago.

In The Hole: House by iamBrandon
iamBrandon's deep love for House and Electronic Music inspired him to begin his DJ Journey in 2020. An award-winning gaming content creator and fashion enthusiast, Brandon brings authenticity and energy to every set he plays. Deeply rooted in the culture of Chicago's iconic House Music scene, Brandon pays homage to and celebrates the Black Queer pioneers who built the genre in the 1980s.
Formerly a Resident DJ at Berlin Nightclub and currently one at Replay in Lakeview, Brandon has been featured on stages at Spybar, Smartbar, Prism, Spotlight Detroit, Motor City Pride, Market Days & Pridefest in Chicago, and Dreamhack both in Atlanta and Dallas.

Guest Artists Anna Poeht (ig: @type.rite) & Jon Antos (ig: @johnnyantos)
Anna Poeht is a multi-disciplinary artist and organizer creating a home in the city of Chicago. Born to fundamentalist Christians trying to break away from imperial constraints, Anna is no stranger to the creation of self. As a young child, Anna played peacemaker in her home life and at school. Growing from that early practice, she has found herself able to speak many social languages, and is well positioned to see people both as they see themselves and as they are perceived more widely. She brings this lens to the world at large, and cannot seem to stop turning that vision into writing. Through poetry, prose, short fiction, speech writing, and more, Anna puts words to the indescribable. Most importantly, she loves doing it.
Anna will be selling typewriter prints as well as portraits made on the spot and a short poetry and photography collection at FunkStick.

Jon Antos is a visual artist from Chicago. Pulling from everyday habits to former encounters, his work explores queerness - particularly his own - through the lens of memory, sexual exploration, and surveillance. Through the art of bright vivid self portraiture, Jon creates scenes of mundane tasks and previous sexual experiences when he was an avid cruiser.
In his work, public spaces are more than areas of transition. Public bathrooms, stairwells, and locker rooms became meeting grounds of sexual freedom and desire. Every figure seen in the pieces are of the artist’s likeness, representing the multiple roles he played during these encounters. In contrast to the scenes of hypersexuality are ones of mundane daily tasks, such as sleeping or getting dressed. Each of these scenes depict Jon’s unidealized form as it exists today, creating a sense of fluidity between time. These private moments are times of reset, ready to perform again, or an attempt to regain normalcy, but still seeking the need to be watched and admired.
High contrasting bright colors, like acid yellows and electric blues, are used throughout the body of work. They emphasize the body in different ways - from excitement, desire, and passion, to detachment, shame, and emptiness.
Through his work, Jon aims to create a space where non-conventional sexual behaviors and unidealized forms are showcased and celebrated, while also remaining truthful on what emotions can come along with presenting them.
Jon will be selling prints of his artwork as well as some original drawings. Take a stand against censorship and buy some Queer smut!
