Resident DJ Connie Kway-Lewd
Connie Kway-Lewd is the alter ego of Leo Meere, a Chicago-based DJ focusing on Classic Disco and her many children. From an adolescent obsession with 60s R&B and Motown, he fell in love with Disco and hi-NRG when he stumbled upon a reunion party for SF’s legendary Trocadero Transfer in 2005. After hoarding records for the decade or so he spent living in DC and Pittsburgh, Leo relocated to Chicago in 2017 and made the transition from a 25 year career as a church organist to DJing in 2023. He got his start spinning sleazy records in the sweaty backroom of Cell Block in Northalsted before launching the Queer vinyl-focused dance party FunkStick. Currently held monthly at Jackhammer, FunkStick strives to use the inherent joy and exhilaration of Disco as a vehicle for community building and celebrated its second anniversary in April 2026.
Guest DJ Wolfgang Amadidas
Wolfgang Amadidas is a Chicago-based DJ and student of all things Cosmic, Balearic and left-field. Gramaphone Records employee and the man behind Moments In Love parties and mix-series. Hailing from Chicago's south-suburbs, Ken’s interests in spaced-out electronic music date back to a teenage obsession with Krautrock and ambient acts like Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream. These laid the groundwork for an obsession with repetitive synth sounds, eventually leading him to the Acid-House sounds of his native city. After college years frequenting local clubs and undergrounds, Ken got his start promoting as part of the DIY crew Support System, throwing long-form loft parties in Wicker Park. Summer 2019 saw the start of Moments In Love, a mix and party series dedicated to Cosmic/Balearic and Leftfield sounds from around the globe. Pulling from a deep well of knowledge gained working at Gramaphone Records, a Wolfgang Amadidas DJ set is an experience of true eclecticism, inspired equally by the music of Chicago as well as left-of-center European DJs like Andrew Weatherall, Beppe Loda, and DJ Harvey.
Guest DJ Rich Marafioti
Rich Marafioti is a Chicago-based vinyl DJ who collects and spins rare soul, crossover, and early disco from the late '60s through the late '70s. Selections popular at UK Northern Soul all-nighters and early disco dance parties that helped shape the sound of Chicago House. Rich is the host of the monthly shows Big Shoulders Soul System on The Face Radio and Just For Fun on Totally Wired Radio.
Rubber Goods by Rubber Relief
Rubber Relief started as a passion project during the pandemic. I was looking for new ways to experience kink and queer sex and fell in love with latex. Sex is a tactile experience and rubber really turns it up a notch for everyone involved, what’s not to love! I want my work to go beyond the darkroom though, so when considering what to create I try to think about how someone can wear these pieces in everyday life too. That’s why you see stuff like the crop top, leotard, or hoodie in my ready to wear collection. I’m also interested in how gear functions as a costume at times, so think cosplay crossovers. My focus may be on the kink community, but I want everyone to know latex is for them too!
Bootblack Tito Joey
Tito Joey is your favorite spicy Filipino guncle, always ready to serve up some jokes and shine at family gatherings! After dipping his toes into the world of leather and BDSM in 2009, he fully embraced his calling in 2023 thanks to the influential folks at Onyx Midwest, who taught him that community service is at the heart of it all. Now, as a proud bootblack in Chicago, Tito Joey polishes his way through life, bringing shine to the Leather Archives and Museum, the Chicago Hellfire Club, and beyond. Citters are welcomed too! He’s the co-founder of Second City Bootblacks, dedicated to education, visibility, and building community one polished boot at a time. If you have the time, sit a while and feel the love he can give to you and your gear. If the vibe is right, things can get a little spicy on and off the stand.
