Price $15 – $20 USD + BF Buy Tickets

Event description

In this one-night-only prepare for a laugh-a-minute explosion of female comedic brilliance! Funny Girl Sh!t is a 2-hr comedy variety show where femme is front and center. isn’t just for the ladies (although they’ll be whooping it up the loudest). This show is for anyone who loves killer comedy, jaw-dropping talent, and celebrating the unstoppable force that is women (and a few of our fabulous non-binary friends).

This powerhouse lineup features stand-up, improv, music, and more!

You’ll see performances from Midnight Diner (Stephanie Bell and Milo Wilder), Full Frontal Bonding (Iannie Warshawsky and Shenelle Peart), and Surrender Dorothy (Audrey MacNeil, Taylor Rexrode, Chelsea Gomez, Amy Louise O’Neil, Madeline Crank, Kate Alleman, Chandlor Lopez, Lauren Almand, Lauren Oxford, and Sarah Neely). The night is hosted by comedian Ade Ajayi and will feature stand-up comedy from Payton Payne, Lilli Lopez, Lindsay Goldapp, and more.

Join us for a night where laughter is a weapon, wit is a superpower, and women take center stage to prove they can conquer the world, one joke (and power ballad) at a time.

More about the performers:

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Chicago, IL, Payton Payne is known as ‘the voice of the people.’ A dynamic presence in the comedy scene, Payton burst onto the stage in 2022 and quickly became a fixture in the DFW metroplex. With appearances on Don’t Tell Comedy events and as the visionary behind the Black Sugar Comedy Show, Payton has established herself as a comedic force to be reckoned with. Sharing the stage with renowned comedians such as Pinky Patel, Zainab Johnson, and Tom Filline, Payton’s talent knows no bounds. Notable achievements include winning the March Laughness 2024 at The Comedy Arena and reaching the semi-finals in the Funniest Person in Dallas competition. Payton effortlessly captivates audiences with her uproarious yet relatable anecdotes about life, love, and the art of survival.

Lilli Lopez is a stand-up comedian, producer, writer, and actor. She appeared as a regular host on United Tacos of America (El Rey Network). She’s performed in festivals (L.A. Diversity in Comedy Festival by Second City, SXSWedu) and tells her jokes at comedy shows everywhere, all the time (but mostly DFW at night). You can follow or give her money via the internet ONLY: @comboloca

Lindsay Goldapp is a veteran improv and sketch comedy performer who has been doing stand-up for eight years of her 25-year comedy career. Lindsay trained at the renowned Second City Improv Conservatory in Chicago and has shared the stage and screen with Kevin McDonald, Alex Moffat, Cecily Strong, and more. Lindsay has performed comedy all over the country and co-founded Stomping Ground Comedy in 2017. She loves giving established, up-and-coming, and aspiring comedians a place to hone their craft. However, she occasionally graces the stage to share her tales of being an incredibly flawed parent, woman, and Millenial.

Surrender Dorothy is an all female punk rock collection of improv baddies! They’ll do whatever they want when they want to. They refuse to give up Dorothy (or bits!). Hold on to your broomsticks and clutch your little dogs because the hour glass has almost run out: Here comes Surrender Dorothy!!! Starring: Audrey MacNeil, Chelsea Gomez, Kate Alleman, Lauren Almand, Taylor Rexrode, Amy O’Neil, Chandlor Lopez, Lauren Oxford, Madeline Crank, Sarah Neely.

Starring Milo Wilder and Stephanie Bell, Midnight Diner is a love letter to a friendship that was birthed from unhinged and unnatural conversations in a diner after midnight. Sit down, get comfortable, and let us serve you a slice of unsettling Americana at the Midnight Diner. Musical accompaniment by Josh Diamond.

Rated M for Mature. Ticket prices are $20 (plus fees) in advance and $25 at the door. Stomping Ground is BYOB. Alcoholic beverages are allowed for all attendees over 21 years old; patrons are asked to enjoy them responsibly.
