Flynn's Walk - Townsville 2025

Join us for the FIRST edition of Flynn's Walk Townsville in 2025!

Why Townsville? It's home to James Cook University, where over 400 veterinary students are currently training, as well many general and mixed practices!

We're walking and talking to support veterinary well-being - come for the walk, stay for the conversation.

FREE to attend and open to all, not just members of the veterinary community - friends, family, young ones and dogs are all welcome!

Join us in Townsville for a 3.5km community walk, from Parade Ground, along Kissing Point Boardwalk and then to Soroptimist Park, then return to the start. We ask that all participants register to assist us with planning and catering for the day. We follow an accessible walking route that is flat, without any major changes in gradient and there are no steps. You can choose to complete all or part of the route.

What can you expect on that day?

Arrive from 8:00am (lets beat the heat together!) and the walk begins at 8.30am sharp (with short formalities before). 

• Coffee Cart before the walk from 08:00
• FREE sausage sizzle (with vego + GF options) at the end of the walk
• Parking available nearby
