    Event description

Keen gardener and want to learn about Garden Tool Maintenance?

Our friends at Ballarat Tool Library are hosting a Garden Tool Maintenance Workshop for us!! Topics include cleaning and sharpening your tools, how to use a mulcher, chain saw, pruning saw, etc. and how to avoid common errors.

Get the most out of your garden tools, plus take the hard work out of gardening, by repairing and maintaining your tools to prolong their life and efficiency.

Join Food Is Free Inc. and The Ballarat Tool Library at this all-inclusive workshop. No matter your skill level or knowledge, you are bound to learn a new tip or trick to take back to your own garden shed/garden. And share with others!

This workshop takes place at Ballarat Tool Library, just before their monthly 1pm Repair Cafe session (which you are welcome to stick around for post-workshop). If you've not been before address is: Ballarat Tool Library Shed, 25 Barkly Square, Ballarat East...just follow the signs.

The Ballarat Tool Library is a volunteer-led initiative that provides access to the tools needed to repair and care for your home and belongings while saving you money from having to buy new tools you may only use once or twice. They provide a local library of tools - both used and new - garden tools, construction tools, kitchen tools, woodworking tools and artist tools. If it’s a tool they’ll try and stock it as they grow and expand!
