Gardening with Kids
Event description
Great school holiday activity! Kids will be learning about the parts of a plant, what things plants need to grow, why plants are important and how to look after them. Children will learn how to make a recycled newspaper pot and take home a plant. The children will also participate in creating a garden together. They will help improve the soil, add mulch, plant some seedlings and water the garden in. They'll also check out MCSL's vegetable farm and visit Lulu the Pig, Belle the Sheep and our chickens.

These sustainable workshops are funded by Campbelltown City Council with the goal of increasing environmental stewardship within the Campbelltown community.
