Garlett Group | Native Title, Mining and First Nations Justice
Event description
Garlett Group | Native Title, Mining and First Nations Justice
Garlett Group Pty Ltd is a 100% Indigenous owned firm that provides services in Indigenous engagement, sustainability, communications, media and digital services. We firmly believe that Indigenous knowledge and perspectives are integral to creating a better future.
Our commitment to Indigenous voices is rooted in profound respect and the invaluable wisdom, accumulated over generations. Indigenous communities hold vital insights into sustainable practices, holistic well-being, and storytelling techniques that can guide us toward a more harmonious coexistence with our environment.
Australia's Indigenous communities and mining organisations have long been intertwined in a constant battle of land rights, cultural and ecological preservation, and financial remuneration. Australia is a resources economy, and the balance between reconciling with oppressed First Nations communities and supporting our largest industry is a fine one. Join Garlett Group in exploring the history of Native Title, Mining and First Nations justice.
