Event description

As we follow nature's rhythm, it's time to emerge from the depths of winter. The days grow longer, the air warms, and the earth begins to awaken. Winter invites us to journey inward, rooting deeply in the dark, fertile soil. Now, with the energy of spring rising, we are called to awaken our bodies from their slumber.

This is a season for renewal and transformation—a time for cleansing and shedding what no longer serves us. Together let’s shift the stagnant, dormant energy and harness it as momentum to move forward, preparing ourselves for the action ahead. Embrace this natural flow with passion and vitality.

During this Gateway Within event, we will work with the Wood element, which is connected to the Liver and Gallbladder in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Our focus will be on cleansing the body, both physically and energetically. This balanced 3-hour immersion will include calming somatic practices, qi gong to move and release, and yin yoga to restore.

Spring marks a new beginning, a fresh cycle, and a season of growth. Together, we will gather in a sacred space to plant seeds of intention in our hearts—nurturing the hopes and dreams we wish to manifest in our lives.

No experience is necessary; you will be guided gently through every step of the journey. Simply bring an open heart and mind.

Our collective intention is to lead you to a space of deep peace and harmony within yourself. This tranquil sanctuary is here, waiting for you, as you carve out sacred time for your own renewal.

About the facilitator:

Maddison embarked on her wellness journey six years ago in Ubud, Bali, where she completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training. This pivotal experience opened her eyes to a new perspective on life, igniting a deep passion for ancient practices and a thirst for continuous learning. Exploring various modalities such as Meditation, Yoga Nidra, and Philosophy, she broadened her understanding and honed her skills. Additionally, Maddison attained Reiki 1 & 2 certifications, delving deeper into the realm of energy healing.

It was the practice of Yin Yoga, however, that truly captured Maddison's heart. Recognizing its profound healing and transformative potential, she embraced it with deep reverence. Witnessing the subtle yet powerful impact it had on her students, Maddison's journey led her to delve into the teachings of Chinese Medicine. This exploration prompted her to pursue a year and a half of study to become an Acupuncturist at university.

Guided by an inner calling, Maddison continues to follow her path with unwavering trust in her intuition. Her current passion lies in cyclical living and empowering women to understand and honour their menstrual cycles, helping them live in alignment with their natural rhythms. Through her dedication to holistic wellness and education, Maddison seeks to inspire others to embark on their own transformative journeys towards health and balance.
