Event description

Health is a human right, and health professionals have a duty to defend it. But advocates for the health of people in Gaza are censured, while our key institutions - even in the face of genocide - stay silent, or worse.

Hear from medical professionals, advocates, and ethicists on defending health advocacy for Gaza - and join with others to take action!

Speakers: Dr Martin Williams, returned from a medical mission in Gaza; Professor Paul Komesaroff AM, physician, medical researcher, Director of the Centre for Ethics in Medicine and Society; Sienna Beradi*, student suspended from university for her activism; Aravindh Anura, Healthcare Students Association for Prevention of War.
