Health is a human right, and health professionals have a duty to defend it. But advocates for the health of people in Gaza are censured, while our key institutions - even in the face of genocide - stay silent, or worse.

Hear from medical professionals, advocates, and ethicists on defending health advocacy for Gaza - and join with others to take action!

Speakers: Dr Martin Williams, returned from a medical mission in Gaza; Professor Paul Komesaroff AM, physician, medical researcher, Director of the Centre for Ethics in Medicine and Society; Sienna Beradi*, student suspended from university for her activism; Aravindh Anura, Healthcare Students Association for Prevention of War.

This is an in-person only event.

This the second annual Bill Williams Memorial Event. These events, held in honour of former MAPW President Dr Bill Williams, aim to encourage all health professionals to be fearless advocates for peace. These events are made possible with the generous support of Dr Michael Williams.
