GEAR'd Adelaide 2025
Event description
GEAR’d Adelaide is an annual multi-day event hosted by Adelaide Leather & Fetish Inc (AL&F). Established in 2017, GEAR’d Adelaide proudly showcases the unique and diverse community that has grown from the original roots of what was once known as Adelaide Leathermen.
The AL&F Committee have worked tirelessly over the previous 8 years to grow an all-inclusive safer place where kinksters of all genders and orientations can have fun. It is encouraged as a place to learn and develop kinky skills, engage in kinky play, show off a love of fetish attire, make new friends or catch up with old ones, and do so all in a relaxed and welcoming fetish friendly atmosphere. The committee takes great pride in having watched the space grow, and the community with it.
GEAR’d has become recognised across Australia, and internationally, as its own community haven and an event not to be missed on any kinky calendar. Hosting this event is a passionate and enthusiastic committee made up of a diverse base of individuals who want to have fun, build connections and community, share and exchange knowledge, and share some of what the Adelaide kink and fetish community has to offer.
2025 will be the 9th year of operation and we are anticipating it to be another amazing event. This year’s GEAR’d will be held from Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th of November inclusive with the main events taking place at The Norwood Hotel, in the Osmond Terrace Function Centre from Thursday the 13th. The venue will have our own dedicated function area, bar, stage, smokers' area (perfect for cigars), and bathrooms. We are very happy to note that onsite parking is available, public transport by bus is very close, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. We are also thrilled to advise GEAR'd remains as a 5-day event with an official free welcome drinks taking place on Wednesday night at Pirate Life Brewing in Port Adelaide which is also an accessible friendly venue.
Over the weekend, GEAR’d Adelaide will once again proudly showcase the Adelaide Leather Title competitions where we hope to find our next Mr and Ms Adelaide Leather along with the Adelaide Rubber Title which was the first non-gendered title of its kind in the southern hemisphere. All your favourite events return with our annual VIP Party, Provocateur Fetish: Through the Photographer’s Lens Exhibition, EVOLUTION BDSM Dance Party, Fetish Market Hall and Sunday Recovery Social. 2025 also sees the introduction of the Fetish Runway! This year’s event is one not to be forgotten and you certainly won’t want to miss it!
