In our first masterclass of the year, hear from Armina Rosenberg, Co-Founder and Co-Portfolio Manager at Minitour Capital, and Daniel Spencer, Founder and Chair of Professionals in International Trade / Head of Sales & Partnerships, Sleek. Drawing on their experience working in Asia and across the capital and investment space, they will share career insights and explore how Asia is emerging as a hotspot for investment, the global and regional shifts shaping capital flows, and what this means for Australia’s economic future.

About our Speakers:

Armina Rosenberg, Co-Founder and Co-Portfolio Manager, Minotaur Capital

Armina "Arms" Rosenberg is the co-founder and co-portfolio manager of Minotaur Capital, which leverages a tech-first, AI-led approach to investing in global equities to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns.

Arms started her career at J.P. Morgan in 2008 in Australian Equities Research. She then moved into the family office world, where she notably managed the global equities portfolio of Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes at Grok Ventures. In 2023, she founded Minotaur Capital alongside Thomas Rice, fusing AI with fundamental investing through Taurient, their in-house proprietary research platform. Arms wears many hats and is also a Board Member of DFAT's Australian Indonesian Institute.

One of her biggest passions is fostering better relationships, particularly investment and capital flows, between Australia and South East Asia generally including Indonesia more specifically. Arms speaks widely on AI, global markets, Southeast Asia, and inclusive innovation, and champions ways that the investment industry can evolve by harnessing AI, technology and diversity.

Daniel Spencer, Founder and Chair, Professionals in International Trade / Head of Sales & Partnerships, Sleek

Daniel is a connector, builder, and mentor at heart. He is the Founder and Chair of Professionals in International Trade and for the past 7 years has served as the Head of Sales & Partnerships for a fast growing tech startup called Sleek. Daniel joined Sleek in Singapore and as Head of Sales guided the business through a 4 year period of rapid growth where Sleek was recognised as one of Singapore's fastest growing startups.

In Singapore, Daniel sat on the Board of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and founded the AustCham SME Group. He also sat on the Board of the AI Asia Pacific Institute.

Prior to Sleek Daniel held senior advisory roles with the Danish and Irish Governments, driving trade and investment strategies on an international stage. 

Whether he’s mentoring startups, steering international growth strategies, or building communities, Daniel brings a blend of commercial acumen and genuine passion for connection.

Marni O'Connell, Program Manager, Asia Society Australia

Marni is responsible for the curation, management and delivery of Asia Society Australia’s programs and professional development courses. 

Her role encompasses coordinating major events, shaping professional development initiatives, and expanding a national network of Asia-focused emerging leaders.

With a background in environmental science and international relations, Marni has worked across government, research, and advocacy.
