Glitter Gel Pen Book Club: A Very Glittery Christmas Book Swap
Welcome to Glitter Gel Pen Book Club — a Sydney meet-up for like-minded girlies who want to romanticise their lives, read sugary novels, and yap about them over a glass (or two) of natty wine. We’re here for the “frivolous” feel-good fiction and a space to unapologetically enjoy and discuss books beyond 19th-century literary classics.
So if you’re in your twenties or thirties, craving a bit of escapism and love a rom-com with your rosé in an aesthetic setting, welcome to your new favourite cal invite.

You’re invited to the Glitter Gel Pen Christmas Book Swap: a festive Friendsmas filled with books, wine, and connection. Picture a beautifully styled Christmas tablescape, a curated set menu with all the trimmings, bonbons, and of course, a glass of wine, all inside one of Sydney’s dreamiest venues. This is our only December meet-up!
When: Wednesday, 3rd December, 6:30 pm
Where: No. 92 Glebe
Book Swap: Bring a book (second-hand or new) and we’ll wrap it with a few hints about the plot. On the night, we’ll swap with each other so every girly walks away with a fresh read for the summer.
We’ll also have festive activities - think playful worksheets, a debrief + ranking of all the feel-good fiction we’ve devoured this year, and of course a few sparkly surprises along the way ✨.

Your ticket includes:
A bespoke Christmas menu, designed just for us by the team at No. 92, made for grazing, sharing, and savouring (catering to all dietary requirements)
A glass of wine (or a non-alcoholic alternative) on arrival to kick off the festive cheer.
Two hours of warm, feel-good conversation with like-minded girlies over delicious food and wine.

🎄 December is always super busy, so this will be our only GGP meet-up in December, and we’re keeping it intentionally intimate. That means limited tickets are available, so secure your spot to avoid missing out!
A note on pricing: Our ticket prices vary depending on the venue, but our goal is always to keep events as accessible (and great value) as possible. Each ticket supports a local spot we adore, while covering delicious food, natural wine, and a few wholesome hours of connection and escapism without blowing the budget. Let’s be real: being a girl who loves to eat out, hoard books, and have a social life in Sydney isn’t exactly cheap. That’s why we run GGP for the community, not profit. And the cherry on top?
