Glitter Gel Pen Book Club: Launch Event
Welcome to Glitter Gel Pen Book Club, a meet-up for like-minded girlies who want to read fun, sugary novels and yap about them over a glass (or two) of natty wine. Every six weeks, we gather at a different Sydney venue to sip, swoon, and spill the tea (not the wine, if possible).
The name is a nod to Queen Taylor Swift, whose “glitter gel pen” songs — the playful, carefree, lighthearted ones — perfectly match our vibe.
We started this because we saw a gap: where’s the book club for people who want a break from the chaos? Something joyful, low-stakes, and a reason to romanticise your week? Because God forbid, smart girls enjoy a book that isn’t a 17th-century literary classic...
