Discover the evolution of the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct (GCHKP)—a world-class hub for health, research, and innovation—on this guided walking tour.
Conceived nearly 25 years ago through a collaboration between the Queensland Government and City of Gold Coast, the Precinct has grown rapidly since the opening of Gold Coast University Hospital (2013), Gold Coast Private Hospital (2016), and the transformation of the 2018 Commonwealth Games Athletes Village into residential housing.
Now home to over 16,000 workers, 2,500 residents, and more than 20,000 Griffith University students, the GCHKP is a model of integrated urban innovation. The tour will showcase current and future developments, including a visit to the newly completed Lumina RDX building—set to house cutting-edge enterprises in health, medtech, and digital innovation.
