This is a free event.
The movement disorders service is a 3 way-partnership between Western Sydney Local Health District, Mid North Coast Local Health District and Parkinson's NSW.
This service will operate as a hybrid hub and spoke model with a specialist movement disorder specialist seeing patients face to face and via telemedicine supported by Vince Carroll the Parkinson's Clinical Nurse Consultant in Coffs Harbour.
Tailored for General Practitioners and Health Professionals,this seminar will delve into two key topics:
- Discover the innovative Mid North Coast Movement Disorders Service, an outreach clinic affiliated with Westmead Hospital.
- Explore advanced assisted device therapy treatments for Parkinson’s disease, including Duodopa and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).
