GPSN NSW/ACT First Steps Event

Welcome to the 2026 GPSN NSW/ACT First Steps, an exciting event designed to introduce medical students to the world of General Practice.

Whether you're already considering a career in general practice or simply curious about the breadth of opportunities available, this event offers a unique chance to hear directly from experienced GPs working across a range of clinical settings and career pathways. Our speakers will share insights into their journeys, day-to-day practice, and the diverse and rewarding nature of a career in primary care.

Following the speaker sessions, attendees will participate in hands-on clinical skills stations, providing an opportunity to develop practical skills, meet fellow medical students, and engage with GPs in a more interactive setting.
