Graeme Norris Quintet Presents: 100 years of Bud and Kenny

Kenny Dorham and Bud Powell, born respectively in August and September of 1924, were outstanding musicians. They were both improvisers and composers who were early leaders in the Bebop style. They then both built extensive and influential careers as players and composers in a variety of styles, and in a variety of contexts. Tonight, on August 22nd 2024, the Graeme Norris Quintet will present a celebration of a century of Kenny and Bud.
