Grain Milling and Flaking - The Food Tool Library
Event description
“Food Tool Library Show & Tell Workshop Series” – supported by the Mumbulla Community Foundation
Join members of The Food Tool Library to share skills and learn how to mill your own flour using the electric and hand mills that are available to borrow for use at home.
You will learn about the health and taste benefits of freshly ground flours and we have both glutenous and gluten-free options. One of our mills is designated GF only to make sure there is no cross-contamination! Feel free to bring along any whole grain you might have to put through the mills to take home to test out (max 1kg please) - think quinoa, oats, wheat, barley, dry legumes, buckwheat etc.
