Join us for a free hands-on Green Cleaning Workshop where you'll learn how to make your cleaning products using simple and cheap household ingredients.
Join the knowledgeable Margaret from Mosshouse as she guides you through recipes and techniques to reduce chemicals in your home, showing you how to reuse and repurpose materials you already own to make low waste & chemical free cleaning products. You'll leave with practical tips, recipes, your own DIY washing power, and the knowledge of how to clean your home the natural way.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who:
Wants to reduce household exposure to chemicals
Wants to reduce packaging waste & learn more about how to reduce, reuse & recycle
Is interested in making small changes that may positively impact their health
Is keen learn new skills in self-sufficiency, reducing reliance on big supply chains and companies
Is looking to save money on cleaning products
Experiences sensitivity to store-bought cleaning products and is looking for gentler alternatives
You are welcome to bring your child / children with you and do not need to book a ticket for them, but we do ask that you take care of them on the day. The workshop will be held at Waverley Library (Ron Lander Centre) on Level 2 in the Theatrette.
Please note, this is a free workshop but because there are limited spots available, we ask for a $10.00 deposit to confirm your place. We will refund tickets, less the processing fee, the next business day after the workshop. If you cannot make it, you can refund your ticket on Humanitix up to 24 hours before. This way, we can give someone else the opportunity to go instead of you. Note, no shows will not be refunded.
