Grounded & Guided

Grounded & Guided

Grounded in traditional Pilates. Guided by modern cueing

Join us for a three-hour immersive workshop for Pilates instructors ready to invest in their teaching, deepen their understanding of traditional Pilates and bring greater confidence, clarity and intention to their classes.

Together, we will workshop traditional Pilates exercises and explore how they can be thoughtfully incorporated into a modern group Reformer setting. Think coordination, snake, the short box series (including climb a tree), long box prone work and short spine massage - just to name a few.

Through a combination of practical theory, movement and teaching exploration, we will dive into the art of cueing, layering and exercise progression. We will explore how to build clients into each shape with purpose, adapt our approach to support different bodies, abilities and experience levels and maintain the integrity of traditional Pilates in a modern teaching environment.

You will leave with a deeper understanding of why we cue what we cue, greater confidence in teaching traditional Pilates exercises and practical insights you can implement straight into your Reformer classes.
