Event description

Unfortunately this workshop has sold out. You can join the waitlist, but better still, save yourself a spot at Amanda's Onehunga workshop on 13 April, here: https://events.humanitix.com/g...

Dig in at this fun, free local workshop with Love Food Hate Waste tutor, Amanda.

Learn all the tips and tricks of growing your own micro greens and sprouts at home, and make some tasty snacks to share.

Improve your health by growing quality food at home. Growing and picking your own produce reduces the thousands of half used, soggy greens going to landfill, including the plastic bag! Plus, you save money and it is better for the environment.

This workshop will support you to get started on eating nutrient dense food enjoying the health and cost saving benefits of this for you and your family. We'll also talk about effective food storage ideas - how to make food last longer, and keeping waste out of landfill.

Please note, the content of this workshop is pitched at an adult audience.

Hosted by Amanda, and proudly brought to you by EcoMatters, thanks to Auckland Council.

This event is part of EcoFest 2024, a month-long celebration of our unique environment to inspire sustainable living across Tāmaki Makaurau.
