Hallowzine: Slow Spells & Spooky Pages

Step into a cozy Halloween afternoon  of creativity, reflection, and a little bit of magic. In this zine-making workshop, we’ll blend gentle self-expression with spooky play — crafting our own Hallowzines: handmade mini spellbooks filled with gratitude, imagination, and transformation.

No experience needed — just bring your curiosity, a touch of witchy wonder, and your love for scissors, glue, and stickers!

🎃 What’s Included:

• Papers (black, orange, and recycled)

• Collage scraps, magazines

• Stickers, washi tapes, pens, scissors, glue

• Mini printer access for text or images

🎃 Journaling Spreads & Prompts (optional)

• Meet Your Inner Monster: playful reflection on your shadow self.

• The Graveyard Page: release what no longer serves you.

• Inviting in Magic: call in new energy for the season ahead.

• Spells of Affirmation: Create spells of manifestation. 
  Decorate with collages, textures, and spells as you go.

Just yourself — all materials are provided! If you’d like, bring your favourite pen, small printouts, or trinkets to collage.

A slow-paced, playful, and imaginative workshop where you can:

• Reflect gently and creatively

• Play with Halloween imagery and symbolism

• Connect with others in a cozy, creative space

• Leave with your very own spooky handmade zine

• Be guided by prompts and suggested spreads or follow your own hallowzine intuition, there’s no right or wrong!

The closest parking to Not-So Secret Society HQ is at Broadway Sydney Car Park, 1 Bay St, Glebe.

Hours: 6am – Midnight

Entrances: Bay St, Francis St, or Grose St (best for North & South car parks - Max height is 1.95m – higher vehicles can use Bay St or nearby street parking)

Rates:
0–2 hrs: FREE (exit within 60 mins of validation)
2–3 hrs: $11 | 3–4 hrs: $22 | 4–5 hrs: $33
5–6 hrs: $44 | 6–7 hrs: $61 | 7+ hrs: $77
After 6pm, exit before midnight: FREE

Additional Note: This venue isn’t wheelchair accessible. We’re sorry for the limitation and are always on the lookout for spaces that welcome everyone.
