Hand Building 10 Week Course - Term 4

This beginner course will guide you through the fundamentals of hand-building techniques, from basic forms to functional pieces. You will explore various materials, tools, and decoration methods, gaining a comprehensive understanding of ceramics, as well as techniques for creating functional and artistic pottery pieces.

By the end of the course, you will have a deeper understanding of the process of ceramic and the skills to glaze your creations.

You will learn:

• Basic hand building skills and knowledge

• Understand of clay and firing

• Explore decoration methods

• Gain confidence in hand building with clay.

Term 4 classes start the week commencing Tuesday 7/10/2025.

Available sessions:

• Tuesdays 1:00pm-3:30pm; or

• Thursdays 9:30am-12:00pm.
