Event description

Ex-Mayor Ross Dunlop will share some historic film of Hāwera’s 75th Jubilee and other significant events of the town. Take this in while Ross shares the journey of refurbishing a heritage building of his own in central Hāwera.

Meet at the corner of High and Regent Streets in central Hāwera at 2:00pm.

Alternatively, a bus will depart Ngāmotu/New Plymouth at 9:30am sharp from outside Puke Ariki Library in Ariki Street. This bus will take passengers to Eltham Historical Society and Mike's Museum events as well as the Hāwera Heritage events later in the day. This bus will return to New Plymouth late-afternoon/early evening following the conclusion of events in Hāwera.

Please answer 'Yes' in the checkout questions if you wish to take the bus from New Plymouth to the events in Eltham and Hāwera. The bus is free, although koha is appreciated.
