Healthy Ageing Talks: Healthy Ageing in a Traditional Chinese Medicine Context
Event description
Welcome to Healthy Ageing Talks @ Geelong West Neighbourhood House!
~Understanding Healthy Ageing in a Traditional Chinese Medicine context
Ageing is a natural process, and in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it is closely linked to the balance of the body’s vital energies. As we grow older, these energies gradually decline and can become imbalanced, leading to many of the common signs and symptoms of ageing.
TCM supports healthy ageing through the principles of Yang Sheng (养生), which means “nourishing life” or “cultivating life.” This approach emphasises mindful practices and lifestyle habits that help maintain balance and vitality.
Join us to explore the TCM perspective on ageing and discover how Yang Sheng can support health and wellbeing at every stage of life.
