Healthy Play School Holiday Session at Gympie Community Gardens

Come along and join us for a fantastic holiday fun morning at the Gympie Community Gardens! While older primary school children can enjoy the gardens' holiday fun program, we are setting up a dedicated Healthy Play Pop-Up—a relaxed, welcoming space especially tailored for younger children and their parents or carers.

A variety of engaging play activities will be set up for your little ones to explore while you relax on mats and cushions, connect with other local families, and enjoy the outdoors.

During the session, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about your child’s development. Our team can conduct a Free Basic Development Check (0–5 yrs) to help identify your child’s strengths and any areas where they may benefit from additional support.

What to Expect

• A dedicated pop-up playgroup for younger children alongside the gardens' primary school holiday fun program

• Free basic developmental screening for your child (ages 0–5)

• Fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development

• A chance to meet and connect with other local parents and families

• Time to chat with friendly support workers about any parenting questions or concerns

• Fresh air, nature, and a relaxed outdoor environment at the community gardens

• Free morning tea provided
