🌿 School Holiday Fun @ Gympie Community Gardens 🌻

Join us for a fun-filled family morning at the Gympie Community Gardens featuring hands-on gardening activities, creative crafts, and pop-up playgroup fun!

Bring the children along to explore seven interactive stations designed to foster community connection, outdoor learning, and positive relationships:

• Date: Wednesday 23rd September

• Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

• Ages: All ages welcome (ideal for families and children)

🌱 Explore Our 7 Fun Stations:

• Station 1: Little Sprouts Station – Children can decorate pots and plant their own seeds.

• Station 2: Raking – Children can help rake up mulch and sticks into fun piles.

• Station 3: Digging Box – Children can use small trowels to dig through the soil and discover hidden treasures.

• Station 4: Insect Hotel – Children can use recycled materials to build a cozy home for garden bugs.

• Station 5: Tree Care – Children can use buckets and wheelbarrows to help mulch around the trees.

• Station 6: Tour Guide – Friendly volunteers can show families around the gardens and share what is growing.

• Station 7: Wishing Tree – Participants can write down a wish or something they are grateful for and tie it to a tree.

🧸 Special Guest: Healthy Play will be joining us to provide a wonderful pop-up playgroup experience specially tailored for younger children!

⚠️ Important Safety Note: Please note that the gardens are not fenced. Parents and guardians must maintain strict supervision of their children at all times to ensure their safety.

• Closed shoes

• Hats and sunscreen

• Gardening gloves (optional)
