Event description

Project Purge is an 8-week fire choreography course culminating in a live performance across two nights at Sydney Fringe Festival. This act is built around The Purge theme, using its iconic soundtrack as the driving force behind the piece.

Performers will learn and refine a mixed-prop routine that features fire fans and double staffs, exploring group formations, synchronised movement, and dynamic staging. The act draws inspiration from dystopian imagery, chaos, and rebellion, channeling the spirit of the purge to create an intense and theatrical fire spectacle.

This troupe is open to performers who currently train with Haus of Fury Fire Academy who want to work as part of an ensemble on a high-impact festival piece.
