Holiday Tech Days - Ethical Hacker
Event description
Holiday Tech Days
Ethical Hacker
Just in time for the school holidays, the ICC team is proud to present an immersive, hands-on, one-day workshop designed for students in grades 9-12.
Think You Can Outsmart Hackers? Step into a Cyber Heist Challenge!
Imagine this: A hacker group has stolen sensitive information from Canberra's government databases and erased all traces of their attack. They're known for leaving no evidence behind, but you have a chance to track them down and stop their next move!
In this program, you’ll step into the shoes of an ethical hacker and take on a series of fun, puzzle-like Capture the Flag challenges inspired by the world of cybersecurity.
Our expert instructors will guide you through everything you need to know on the day. You’ll learn the basics of how hackers think, how to spot clues, and how to solve challenges to uncover hidden information.
