Holla-Fresh Farm Tours
Description
Ever wondered where your fresh herbs come from?
Join us for a behind-the-scenes walk through Holla-Fresh in Tantanoola and follow our herbs from tiny seed to packed and ready to distribute. You’ll see how we grow fresh herbs without soil, step inside a glasshouse that covers a full acre under one roof, and see the clean-energy system that helps heat it all.
What you’ll see
The seed shed: where every herb starts life. See how we seed and raise thousands of young plants before they head to the growing houses.
Our hydroponic greenhouses: watch the transplanted herbs growing in water and nutrients instead of soil, and learn why hydroponics means cleaner produce, less water and year-round growing.
The 1-acre glasshouse: walk through our all-glass glasshouse, a full acre of growing space under a single roof.
The Packshed: see how herbs are harvested, processed and packed, ready to distribute to our customers.
The ECHO2 pyrolysis system: see the innovative clean system we use to generate heat and energy on site, and how it helps make our farm more sustainable.
