Horizons: Western Sydney Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra
Event description
WSP launches the WestPhil Chamber Orchestra (WPCO) with Horizons, a landmark program marking the birth of Western Sydney’s own flagship orchestra in residence at Western Sydney University.
Led by Artistic Director Peter Clark, outstanding young, emerging musicians will perform alongside their acclaimed professional mentors, and renowned international soloist Amalia Hall.
The gala concert on 5 October at the Sir Ian & Nancy Turbott Auditorium showcases the artistry and ambition of this new ensemble and will also feature performances by virtuoso pianist Konstantin Shamray, performing together with Amalia Hall - the confirmed 2026 WSP Soloists - and talented young players of The Advocates.
