Part performance, part dance floor uprising, Hot & Heavy is a live performance work presenting at Midsumma Festival 22,23,29,30th January 2026.
The Hot & Heavy team would like to invite you to ‘the Afterparty’, a post-performance, creative and embodied workshop where the energy from the dancefloor can be transformed into real-world action, exploring those themes from the show, connecting with local climate groups and meeting like-minded new people.
DATES - 27 Jan & 17 Feb. 5.15pm - 7.30pm

This is a small group of approx 20 people. You will be led through a series of activities including; movement, inspiring discussions, and training on how to speak about about climate issues with the Climate for Change Facilitators. You will hear about upcoming opportunities to connect in with the climate movement here in Naarm. It's a great chance to start the new year with refreshed energy for making a difference in your world.
Both workshops are exactly the same content - just book yourself into one date that best suits you.

Comfortable clothes and shoes to move in, a waterbottle, anything to make yourself comfortable for example a cushion.
