How to Navigate Challenging Conversations with Family and Friends
Event description
How to Navigate Challenging Conversations
Communicate with courage, clarity, and care in your closest relationships.
Difficult conversations are part of every meaningful relationship—but they don’t have to end in hurt feelings or unresolved tension. Whether it’s setting a boundary with a family member, addressing a long-standing issue with a friend, or simply expressing how you really feel, the way you show up in these moments can strengthen connection or create distance.
This course offers practical tools and emotional insight to help you navigate those tough conversations with more confidence and care. Grounded in communication strategies and emotional intelligence, you’ll learn how to say what matters most—without losing yourself or damaging the relationship.
Perfect for anyone who wants to communicate more openly, honestly, and effectively with the people they care about most.
The workshop will be delivered by Peter and Linda Watson from Impact Facilitation. Peter and Linda teach communication skills in the community services sector and can see the value of these skills in supporting healthy families.
There is a small charge of $20 to attend, or $10 for a concession. Refunds are available up to a week prior to the event.
