Description

How To Start A Side Hustle is a one-day school holiday startup experience designed for high school students who want to learn how to start a business while still at school.

Throughout the day, students will hear directly from young entrepreneurs who have successfully launched their own businesses and side hustles, while learning practical skills including how to come up with a business idea, build a brand, market a product or service, attract customers and make sales.

Students are welcome to attend whether they already have a business idea they want to grow or are starting completely from scratch. The workshop is designed to help students explore opportunities, develop ideas and build confidence, regardless of their experience level.

Through hands-on activities, startup challenges and interactive workshops, students will explore how they can turn their passions, hobbies and interests into something real, while connecting with like-minded young people interested in entrepreneurship, startups and innovation.

Refund policy

In the event that you are unable to attend your BOP Industries program or event, a credit will be available to be used for any future BOP Industries program or event tickets (within the next 24 month period). This credit/postponement of attendance must be made no later than 7 days prior to the event or program. If a program is cancelled, our first priority is to postpone the program or transition to an online offering. If neither of these options are available, a cancellation may be required, in which case an application for refund is available. All refunds must be approved by BOP Industries prior to being confirmed and will be based on a case-by-case basis. All refunds will not include the booking fee paid upon purchase.
